What I do

I am driven by a love of Classical Philosophy, the belief that it has methods of answering questions modernity has forgotten, and the the desire to share those methods with you. Modern problems don’t need modern solutions, they need timeless ones.

 

Driving Philosophy exists to teach you how to think, not what to think. I’m here to help you answer your business's biggest questions with a philosophy rooted at the foundation of the human experience.

I help you think deeper and differently about your business by instructing and applying the teachings of Aristotle.

Dr. Spencer Bentley, Ph.D

Spencer's academic research applied modern sociology to ancient belief systems. Now he brings ancient philosophical frameworks and wisdom to modern businesses.

With over a decade of teaching Philosophy and Theology in University and Schools, and a real belief in the value of equipping those around him to think critically, deeply, and independently, there is little Spencer enjoys more than working through a tough concept with cogency and clarity.

There is a reason Aristotle's Philosophy  set the stage for Western science, politics, ethics and religion, and Spencer would love to share with you why it is as relevant and applicable today as it has ever been.
